From what I understand, below is DPR's PGP key. But if I try to add it to my keyring, it comes up with the following error:
public key ring doesn't start with public key tag: tag 0x2
Other public PGP keys work without a hassle....
Also, most PGP keys I've seen start with mQ, this one starts with iQ.
I would like to add him to my keyring to verify his messages. Not tinfoily but better safe than sorry
(If I'm not allowed to post DPR's PGP here, please tell me or remove it)

Hi mate, first of all try this instead.
Copy Dpr's PGP key, but dont paste it anywhere. That will be it on your clipboard.
Go to your pgp program and select import key --> from clipboard. then click ok.
that should save it to the side of your program where your key would be.
try this tutorial, if theres any bits you dont understand try reading it closely a few times, i had to anyway. If you wanna send some encrypted messages back and forward no probs, just gimme ashout

The program I use doesn't support adding keys from the clipboard.
Encrypting and decrypting messages works flawlessly.

I found out that the software I was using wasn't safe at all. Now I use GPG4USB.
Still, when I try to add DPR's key, using the clipboard it comes up with "No keys found to import"
Weird.

I use GPA(GNU Privacy Assistant) easier than email.
Also you posted the signature not the public key just to make sure everyone knows the difference...any problems with encrypting can be fixed with the SR forum PGP Club's aid.
So do some research and educate yourselves while in the newbie subforum don't just look at it as a pain in the ass but as budding stage for your time spent on Silk ROad using the Marketplace

I was stuck with PGP for like 4 days and didn't really want to be asking hundreds of questions that had answers already posted somewhere else.
See now im so fucking glad that i managed to do it! but i know what its like so im just trying to help a few people who arn't getting it.

I agree, if you aren't willing to read and read untill your head's sore about ways to keep safe on Sr you shouldn't be using it.
